Taylor Cole Miller, Communication Studies; Valerie Krage, Educational Studies; Teri Holford and Kendall Morgan, both Murphy Library; Pete Rydberg, Visual & Performing Arts; and Kjerstin Lang, University Marketing & Communications; served on the TEDxUWLaCrosse committee. The group planned and organized a successful TEDxUWLaCrosse event on Oct. 10, 2024, in The Bluffs, Student Union. Their dedication to fostering thought-provoking dialogue not only enriches the university community but also engages the broader public. One third of the attendees were from the wider La Crosse community. Thank you to the committee for making TEDxUWLaCrosse a memorable and inspiring experience for a full house of attendees.

Nic Barilar

Nic Barilar, Theatre & Dance, directed "Puffs" on Oct. 11 in Toland Theatre. The production ran October 11-20, and featured the work of faculty colleagues: Mandy Kolbe, scenic design; Michelle Collyar, costume design; David Harlan, sound design; and Nate Mohlman, technical direction. Students included: Amber Meyers, lighting design; Sage Goetsch, props design; Ozzy Glazer, Miranda Logan, and Hailey Kluck, all puppet design; Avery Weston, stage management; and Amanda Visger, dramaturgy.

Ashley Dobrogosz

Ashley Dobrogosz, Theatre & Dance, presented "Check" at Wisconsin Dance Council Conference on Oct. 12 in Reedsburg, WI. The duet from Art in Motion was selected for the conference showcase. Student dancers Josie Lukan and Kaitlyn Pyburn performed.
