As a UWL senior studying art education and minoring in art history, Marlie Voigt has developed a passion for printmaking. Following a competitive jury process, two of Voigt’s prints were selected to be part of Press Forward, a national student printmaking juried exhibition in 2023. CASSH students have exciting opportunities to travel abroad. During summer 2024, UWL students immersed themselves in Chinese language and culture during a 4-week program in Hangzhou, China. Every year, CASSH recognizes an outstanding senior undergraduate student with the John E. Magerus Award. In spring 2024, CASSH was pleased to announce Leo Chavolla as the Magerus awardee. Leo graduated in May with a major in Music: Jazz Performance emphasis and minors in Art and Theatre Arts: Design and Technical emphasis.
