Welcome to the housing contract and application process for 2018-19.

Step 1: Confirm your admission and enrollment at UWL

In order to live in the residence halls, you MUST be a full-time student at UWL. If you are unsure of your admission status, please check with the UWL Admissions Office. You will need to pay the $100 enrollment deposit. After 48 hours, you will be able to access the housing contract and application.

Step 2: Learn about the UWL residence halls

Please take a look at the residence hall information on our website to learn about the similarities and differences of our residence halls. Review the room rates.

Step 3: Complete your housing contract and application

Follow these instructions to begin your housing contract and application:

  • Go to WINGS and log in using your UWL username and password
  • Select the "UW-La Crosse" dropdown at the top left of the screen
  • Select the "Residence Life" dropdown at the top left of the screen
  • Select the "Housing Application" link (Safari is not compatible with our housing application. Make sure to turn off the pop-up blockers.)
  • Review and agree to the housing contract terms and conditions
  • Pay the $150 housing deposit
  • Review your application summary for accuracy

This is a legally binding contract that cannot be cancelled without penalty after May 1, 2018 if you attend UW-La Crosse during the academic year 2018-19.

If you cancel after May 1, you forfeit the $150 housing deposit.

Step 4: Update your application

You may update your application to change residence hall preferences and roommate preferences by returning to WINGS. This will not affect your original completed contract and application date.

Step 5: Housing assignments

Housing assignments will be sent out by email near the end of July. They will include room and roommate assignments. Assignments are prioritized based on completed contract and application dates.

If you have questions, please email the Office of Residence Life or call 608.785.8075.

Eagle Hall signup

Important:

Eagle Hall rooms are extended housing and accommodate three students due to the demand for on-campus housing. Students who live in an Eagle room with two other people have their normal room rate reduced each semester. If a room has only 2 people in it, the housing rate will be adjusted to the normal double room rate for each student. (This also applies to rooms with two people who go down to one person occupying that space.) Please see specific room rates. This will be prorated based on the date of the occupancy change.

Please email the Office of Residence Life or call 608.785.8075 for more information.
