Residence Hall renovations

It is an exciting time to be living on campus at UWL! Residence Life is committed to ensuring our students have the best living facilities possible and therefore are on-schedule to renovate our traditional halls in a 2-phase process.
Phase 1 renovation includes:
- Updating electrical wiring
- Installing a fire sprinkler system
- Completely remodeling the male and female community bathrooms, including more private shower stalls
- Adding an all-gender, single-use bathroom and shower on each floor
Phase 1 renovation timeline:
- Laux - spring 2019
- Orris White - spring 2022
- Sanford - spring 2023
- Wentz - spring and summer 2024
Phase 2 renovation includes:
- New room furniture
- Paint
- Flooring
- Lighting
- Reconfigured basement layout, including kitchen remodel
- Reconfigured and furnished floor lounges and lobby area
Phase 2 completion timeline:
- Laux - summer 2022
- Orris White - summer 2023
- Sanford - summer 2024
- Wentz - summer 2025
Renovation dates are to be determined for Coate, Angell, Hutchison, and Drake Halls.
