New Students
Please review the information provided in order to determine the time that best meets your needs, then select your move-in time. We encourage you to arrive between September 2 and September 5. Student meal plans will become active on the evening of September 2. New Student Orientation will begin on the afternoon of September 5.
Returning Students
You should plan to arrive to campus between the afternoon of September 5 and September 7. Parking, meal plans, and campus resources will be more easily available to you during this time.
Early Arrival Housing
Early arrival times are August 28 to September 4 between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. We must keep these numbers reduced, so please only do so, if needed. Limited services will be available on campus (desk hours, food availability, staff accessibility).
- If you are an individual student hoping to arrive early, please sign up for an Early Arrival Time (link to be updated soon). Please note you will be billed a nightly rate prior to September 4.
- Meal plans do not start until the evening of September 2.
- There is no move-in help for students arriving earlier than September 2.
- If you have already been approved to move to campus early due to a campus-affiliated group, you do not need to sign up again (Athletics, Band, Resident Assistants, International students, etc.).
- To access your room before September 2, you must sign up for early arrival housing, even if you are not staying overnight or fully moving in.

Check in at your residence hall
Students should bring their campus Eagle ID card to the check in designated for their residence hall. In most cases, this is the front desk or near the front entrance of the hall.
If a student does not have their ID, we encourage you to stop by the Eagle ID Office located in the Student Union prior to moving in. For more information about Eagle IDs, please visit their website.
Move in!
Unload your vehicle and get settled in your new home! Your Resident Assistant will be close by to welcome you and share opportunities to get connected.
Reminder: When your move in is complete, move your vehicle out of the unloading lots to allow for other students to arrive and use the spaces.
