Oktoberfest Safety

A page within Student Life

OkSOBERfest

The Student Life Office is committed to stewarding an environment that supports academic, career, and life success. Through education, prevention, and intervention we aim to reduce harm experienced by UWL students related to alcohol and/or drug use, reduce substance use on campus, and provide support for well-informed decision making by UWL students.

Oktoberfest is an annual celebration in La Crosse with a variety of activities including parades, live music, and other community events. For some, substance use is part of the festivities. We encourage students to participate safely and to understand campus policy related to alcohol and/or drug use. Explore this page for resources, emergency contact information, and alcohol-free events.
