Disbursement dates

If all necessary paperwork has been completed, the first day financial aid funds are disbursed is the first day of classes each semester. All funds will be electronically credited to the student's University bill. Please note that some funds, including Funds for Wisconsin Scholars (FFWS) and Wisconsin Tuition Promise, are not disbursed until after the 10th day of classes in order to confirm student enrollment or for third party processing.
For the 2026-27 academic year, the first day of the fall semester is September 2, 2026 and the first day of the spring semester is January 20, 2027.
