Discovery World

Discovery World offers unique, hands-on exhibits and programs focused on two areas - technology and freshwater sciences. Center for Urban Teaching

The Center for Urban Teaching (CfUT) is an independent, Christian non-profit organization that identifies, prepares, and supports high-performing urban teacher and leaders for choice, charter, and public schools. Currently CfUT is on target to expand its pipeline of teachers and leaders so that by 2020
there are 500 alumni actively serving in the field.

Contact Cindy Duley for more information.

SHARP Literacy

Children are naturally curious, and SHARP’s programs guide them toward new ways of learning that promote creative thinking and problem solving. SHARP brings learning to life by actively engaging students with hands-on activities, educational tours, collaborative summer and after-school programs, mural projects and more.

Urban Ecology Center

The Urban Ecology Center cornerstone program is the Neighborhood
Environmental Education Project serving kids in 60 urban Milwaukee schools each year. This program enables students to take a walk in the woods, stand in a river in hip waders, or run along the beach at Lake Michigan when they might not have other opportunities to do so.
