The primary library at UWL is Murphy Library, which also administers the Special Collections and Area Research Center and the Alice Hagar Curriculum Resource Center.

The following are additional libraries on campus:

Counseling & Testing Center

Location: 2106 Centennial Hall

Hours: Monday - Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Collection: The Counseling & Testing Lending Library has a wide variety of books focused on mental health and overall wellness.  Resources are organized into the following categories: ADHD, Anxiety, Depression & Mood, Disordered Eating & Body Image, Mindfulness, Relationships & Family, and Miscellaneous. 

Circulation: Books may be checked out by UWL students, faculty, and other patrons for three weeks with possible renewals.

Marian D. Hammes Early Childhood Center

Location: 170 Morris Hall
Contact: Please contact an Early Childhood Education faculty member

Hours: Hours vary each semester. Please contact an Early Childhood Education faculty member for access to the center.

Collection: Contains a collection of books, kits, activities, and toys to use with young children.

Circulation: Materials are available to borrow as needed by UWL students.

Music Listening Lab

Location: Room 124 Center for the Arts Building
Contact: 608.785.8415
Hours: Due to Staffing, this location is closed until further notice. Please see the Music Office, 233 CFA from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. on weekdays.

Collection: Listening Lab collection contains anything from Classical, Jazz, to Modern Rock. We a have Multi-media collection that includes: Albums, Compact Disc, Cassettes, VHS tapes, DVD's, and Musical Scores.

Pride Center

Location: 2216 Student Union

Hours: Monday: 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m., Tuesday: 10:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m., Wednesday: 9:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m., Thursday: 9:00 a.m.- 7:00 p.m., Friday 1:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Race, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Resource Center

Location: 4301 Centennial Hall

Collection description: Contains a small circulating library of books and periodicals, plus information and brochures for services, jobs, careers, and graduate schools.

Circulation: Books and journals are cataloged through Murphy Library. Books may be checked out by anyone in 4300 Centennial Hall (fill out the card and leave it at the front desk).
